31 Oct Post and follow ups and finishing a film
The summer film is looking incredible. I am so proud of what we achieved on such a small budget in such a small amount of time. It also helps that having shown it to an audience of 9 year olds they loved it. They are the best, scariest, most honest critics of all. So now Pretty Outrageous is being shown to distributors. There are still a few things that need fixing. For example, sound issues and the score needs completing as well as a couple of coloring issues. But other than that it is totally watchable. It’s so important to complete a film. I can’t wait to work on Too Outrageous. The film I directed and shot earlier this year also looks incredible. It has to move at a very different pace though because there are more people involved. I have completed my cut as the director and now it’s in the very capable hands of the producers giving it their time to look at the film and work on it. A post house and composer are sitting ready to work on the finishing touches for this as well. Once it is completed it can be put into film festivals or sold. Both processes for these films have been completely different and I learnt so much from both of them. It will be exciting to get them both finished and sold. Anyone can make a film but to complete it and sell it is where all the hard work really takes place.
