31 Oct Being Mum
As I stand today working through my list (I am most effective and productive whilst standing) at the same time answering emails and phone calls, reading scripts, writing down ideas, responding to my crew, I am also being mum. But not just a mum who makes packed lunches and can work for 8 hours whilst she is at school. I am also rehearsing my daughters lines, her auditions, making sure she is writing her blogs and working creatively. I have about three full time jobs at once. Professional, mother and CEO of domestic admin (cleaner) my professional role and mother role are most definitely my favorite. I hate domestic admin more than anything. I suddenly realize I can’t see in my bathroom mirror because it’s actually dirty. It’s just such a low priority for me. So in order to make my life work I need to be super organized, super productive and plan ahead. I have to keep the simple things as simple as I can allowing me to put my time and energy into the things that really matter.
